Make it yours

Start from a preset. Then change anything.

Grandpa’s attic is where our library lives. Your family’s stories can start anywhere: your street, Grandma’s mango tree, a festival day from your tradition, the Moon. Pick a starting point, then change the place, the hero and their skin tone, who else is in it, the look, the words from home, who reads it aloud, the reading level and the skill, as much or as little as you like.

Preset

Every art style here passed its test before any family can use it: the same five children, from very fair to very deep skin, painted in each style and checked for true skin tones, one consistent look, no stray writing and sharp printing. The pictures above are those tests, so the scene is a test scene; your story is painted in your own place. Faith stories go to a reviewer of that tradition.

The Story Studio · by invitation

A story starring your child, about the thing they’re learning.

Pick the skill. Your child draws the hero. Together you choose the world: Grandpa’s attic, outer space, a lighthouse town, your own street. The Story Studio writes the story, paints eight scenes and reads it aloud. About ten minutes later it’s on your child’s shelf, waiting for you to say yes.

Not a name pasted into someone else’s story. Their drawing, their world, the skill they’re working on.

Paused for now. The Story Studio isn’t painting new stories while we add painting capacity. Join the list and we’ll write when it opens again.
